3rd Beet
was founded in 2022 when writing and acting duo Erin Leflar and Clayton James-Plamondon joined forces.
After 5 years
writing and acting in sketch comedy together, the two created their first production, Just Business, for the 2024 Stage Struck Festival.
In 2024
they won runner-up for outstanding production with Just Business, and took home the award for best director for the same production.
How The Mighty Fall
Produced in the 2026 Stage Struck festival, this show took home three awards: Outstanding Production, New Work, and Technical.
Edmonton’s 2025 Fringe Festival
was 3rd Beet's second time producing Just Business, this time with some updated tweaks!
Confirmed Bachelor
was their second work, produced for the 2025 Stage Struck Festival.
ADFA Provincials
After Stage Struck 2026, 3rd Beet took "How The Mighty Fall" to ADFA provincials, where they won Outstanding Technical.
2026 Fringe Festival
This summer, 3rd Beet will produce "Confirmed Bachelor" in the 2026 Edmonton Fringe Festival.
